A repeat of the Euro 2020 final is going down tonight as Italy battle it out with England in a UEFA Nations League match.

A repeat of the Euro 2020 final will take place at an empty Molineux Stadium as England take on Italy in the UEFA Nations League. England salvaged a 1-1 draw against Germany in their most recent Nations League match while Italy managed to go passed Hungary in a 2-1 victory. Harry Kane now needs only 4 more goals to surpass Wayne Rooney as the country's leading top-scorer of all time. England currently find themselves occupying the fourth position in their group and should their performance continue in a poor trajectory they face a possibility of being relegated to League B from League A. An empty Molineux will not have the same feeling to the players as a packed Wembley Stadium but the hosts have gone on a 15-game run without defeat on English soil.

The youthful Italian squad performed exemplary well to claim a crucial point from an experienced German side. Some more recognizable names, however, were brought up in the game against Hungary to ensure that all the 3 points went into the Italian basket. Italy have now leapfrogged Germany to be on top of their group standings as they endeavor to progress to the finals for the second cycle running, and lifting the Nations League trophy would do them some consolation for missing out on the FIFA 2022 Qatar 2022 World Cup which is the second global showpiece they are out of as they also missed the FIFA 2018 Russia World Cup

Italy's victory against Hungary, however, represents just their fourth win in a run of 12 games ever since they were crowned the champions of Europe following their successful campaign in the Euro 2020. They must now harness their away-day specialties if they are to get a positive result in England. They have not lost a single away game from home since their 1-0 defeat to Portugal in 2018 September. No fans will be available at Molineux Stadium following the ugly scenes experienced at Wembley side before Italy emerged victorious over England on penalties in the Euro 2020 final.
