Kylian Mbappe's contract at PSG will be expiring in June and he has told the club that he intends to leave. The France captain has not signed a contract with Real Madrid yet but the deal could soon be announced once it has been verified that there can no longer be a possibility for PSG to meet with Real Madrid in this season's UEFA Champions League competition. The 2018 World Cup winner is PSG's record goal scorer having netted 244 goals for the club. On February 13th before training, Mbappe met PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to inform him that he would not be renewing his contract and that he would be leaving the French capital giants at the end of the season.
The French superstar was left out of the starting line in the weekend's fixture following reports that emerged that he would be leaving the club. Mbappe is set to sign a five-year deal with Real Madrid which will see him earn 15m euros (£12.8m) a season. He will also earn 150m euro (£128m) signing-on bonus to be paid over five years, and he will keep a percentage of his image rights.
