An epic battle between Liverpool and Real Madrid is looming as the two teams prepare to clash in the UCL final. Who will be crowned the champion?

Premier League powerhouse, Liverpool and LaLiga giants, Real Madrid will convene at Saint-Denis, north of the French capital Paris for a thrilling UEFA Champions League final on Saturday night at Stade de France. The Los Blancos have won a record 13 titles in Europe's most coveted competition while the Reds will be looking for their 8th crown. Carlo Ancelotti's side has sent packing some heavyweights including Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea, and Manchester City in the run-up to the final while Jurgen Klopp's men have dumped out Inter Milan, Benfica, and a stubborn Villarreal who had earlier eliminated two big boys of Europe; Juventus and Bayern Munich

Liverpool come into the game with high spirits of having already two cups in their cabinets this season; the EFL Carabao Cup and the Emirates FA Cup although they are also hurting from missing out on the EPL title after losing the battle to Manchester City who snatched the trophy by a point. Real Madrid on the other hand come on the backdrop of being recently crowned LaLiga champions giving their closest rivals Barcelona a 13 points gap. Saturday's match will mark the 10th time that the Reds have appeared for a Champions League final and some may argue that they have had fortunes fall in their favor most of the time but Jurgen Klopp will bluntly put it out that there is no easy fixture in UCL competitions.

The last time the two met in the Champions League final of the 2017-18 season, the Los Blancos won 3-1. Some key Liverpool players had earlier said that their wish was to meet up with Real Madrid at the final so that they can get an opportunity to exert revenge. The manager, Jurgen Klopp has, however, said that vengeance is not playing out in his mind but he is sure to go for a treble after missing out on the quadruple. Ancelotti and Klopp have very different football philosophies and have very different tactical styles. Football lovers around the world are looking forward to a classical game as the two top teams of Europe clash.
