Cristiano Ronaldo was on it again as he scored a hat-trick to bail out Manchester United from a disappointing draw with Tottenham to rekindle the top four finish hopes yet again. He opened the scoring at the 12th minute before Harry Kane equalised with a penalty on the 35th minute. Ronaldo netted in ones again at the 38th minute just a few minutes before the half time whistle.
Both teams tried to outplay each other in the second half before Manchester United gave in to the Spurs pressure with an own goal from Harry Maguire at the 72nd minute. Ronaldo rose to the occasion to bail the Red Devils out yet again at the 81st minute completing a fantastic Premier League hat-trick. He has now netted in 59 hat-tricks with Lionel Messi following closely with 55 of them.
