EPL clubs have been making some attacking, defending, as well as midfield reinforcement during this transfer window and some are spending big money.

The Europe summer transfer window is open and English Premier League clubs have been busy in the market buying players in readiness for the next season that will begin on Saturday, August 5th. Arsenal have secured Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira's signature for £30 million and also have additionally got Gabriel Jesus in a £45 million swoop from champions City. The EPL champions responded by signing Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips for the same £45 million. They had earlier added to their squad the goal-scoring sensation Erling Haaland whom they captured in a £51 million deal with the perpetual runners-up in the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund

The Premier League runners-up, Liverpool have acquired £64million Darwin Nunez from Portugal powerhouse Benfica Lisbon. New Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag finally completed his first piece of summer business with the £13 million capture of left-back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord. Chelsea have started off their new era under new owner Todd Boehly by signing Raheem Sterling in a £ 50 million deal from Manchester City. Tottenham have been busy adding Richarlison for £60 million from Everton, Brighton's Yves Bissouma for £25 million, and capturing Ivan Perisic on a free from Inter Milan. Antonio Conte is busy looking for talent to play in the UEFA Champions League after they edged out Arsenal last season in the top four finish race after they finished fourth on the table. 

Manchester United are still in the race to sign Ajax player Lisandro Martinez and his teammate Antony. Arsenal have launched a bid for Manchester City's Oleksandr Zinchenko.  Chelsesa are also close to sealing a deal with Napoli for Senegalese Kalidou Koulibaly and it is expected that the deal will see the light of the day. Manchester City also boast of signing Julian Alvarez from Argentine side River Plate. The transfer window in England, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France as well as other major leagues in Europe will close on Thursday September 1st at 11pm (BST).
