Philipe Coutinho is a man on Arsenal's radar as they are set to steal him away from Aston Villa in the next transfer period. He is on loan at Villa Park from Barcelona and he is enjoying a fruitful spell so far having netted in four goals and provided three assists in nine Premier League games. Steven Gerrard is pushing for the Aston Villa hierarchy to make his loan move permanent by triggering the 33million Euros buy-out clause. It is reported that the club chiefs are stalling over putting into action the buy-out clause as this will mean they are the ones to foot Coutinho's hefty salary. Currently, the Catalan giants are paying more than half of his salary. The Gunners are watching closely the unfolding at Villa Park and will be ready to capitalize on the Brazilian man if Villa are unable to match his wage. Tottenham and West Ham are also reportedly to be having an eye on the forward should the parties involved in the striker's loan deal fail to reach an agreement.
