Liverpool are in a chase of a quadruple and they seem to have gained momentum following their most recently acquired victory in the FA Cup competition.

Liverpool are no doubt at a high in their season having already won two cups out of the possible four and in the remaining two, they are still in contention. They have already bagged themselves the EFL Carabao Cup and the Emirates FA Cup. They are now chasing after the Premier League cup which they are in a tight race with against reigning champions Manchester City and they will face off with the holders of the LaLiga crown, Real Madrid for European glory in the UEFA Champions League final in Paris. Tonight, they face Southampton at the Saint Marys Stadium and will be hoping to win with a wide margin as collateral just in case the title is decided on goals difference in the final game of the season.

The Reds come into the game in high spirits having lifted the FA Cup for the first time in 10 years following a dramatic and entertaining penalty shootout that saw Chelsea lose out on yet another final to them in one season. Completing a domestic double have set Liverpool up for a Champions League and Premier League charge and the win over the Saints tonight will reduce the EPL gap with Man City to one point and they can thereafter hope that the champions can be held down by Norwich City on the last day of the campaign and themselves to thoroughly crash Wolves on the same day.

The Reds hit the Saints four goals without a reply earlier at Anfield this season and they will be looking to set the bar even higher for themselves in today's game. The last time they were at the Saint Marys Stadium though, Southampton managed to protect their 1-0 lead up to the end of the 90 minutes. Jurgen Klopp will have established himself as one of the most successful managers of this century if he can manage to pull the quadruple that he has been chasing all season.
