Manchester City's boss Pep Guardiola admits that he feels sorry for his Chelsea rival Thomas Tuchel following the sanctions that have been imposed to them leaving them in uncertainty. Long-time Chelsea owner Abramovich was one of the seven Russian oligarchs facing new  measures imposed by the United Kingdom government and the impact on Chelsea will be significant. Abramovich had his assets frozen. Guardiola says that he understands the sanctions imposed on the club will be challenging to the players and also to Thomas Tuchel as a manger. 

Pep Guardiola was speaking in a pre-match news conference ahead of City's trip to Crystal Palace. The match will be played on Monday. When he was thrown to the question of whether coaches and managers had to now carry out due dilligence on the clubs they had to join, he answered that it now looks like one had to know absolutely everything.
