Paul Pogba has opened up a book of speculations of whether he will remain at the Old Trafford next season as rumours are ripe that the French international might be headed to Parc de Princess. He has expressed his frustrations at his situation at Manchester United with him being asked to play in different positions. The French man's future is now up in the air with his contract due to expire in June and there seems to be no sign of a deal extension especially under the current interim coach Ralf Rangnick. Paris Saint Germain is now being touted as the most likely destination of the Manchester United star and he himself admits that the opportunity to link up with some of his international colleagues at Parc des Princes holds great appeal.
Pogba has had a disappointing 2021-22 campaign at United that will see them not lift any trophy this season and he further admits that the last five seasons at the Old Trafford have not satisfied him. He further added that he is thirsty for trophies and PSG might just serve to quench his thirst. The French man further pointed out at how he is under-utilised at United saying that he is not played in his best position which makes him inconsistent due to regular position changes.
Paul Pogba has struggled to live up to expectations since signing for United from Juventus for a record £89 million back in 2016. He has faced a lot of criticism amid the Red Devils five year trophy drought while fitness problems and inconsistent form have been a running theme for the 2018 World Cup winner. He has only netted ones in the 23 matches that he has played for United this season but has however, provided nine assists in the Premier League sitting at position four behind Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson, and Trent Alexander-Arnold. If speculations and rumours are anything to go by, he might just be headed to the French capital next season to utilise his talent at PSG.
