Cristiano Ronaldo and Edison Cavani have just been ruled out of the Manchester City-Manchester United clash through injury. Ronaldo has picked up a knock while Cavani has been out of action due to groin complaint and he is still not fit for today's game. United will therefore have to make the trip to their city rivals without the two centre forwards. This comes as a worry to United fans as not having their superstar Ronaldo in a game of such a magnitude is a big loss to them. The Superstar is a player who tends to thrive in such big games and playing without him in the squad is a major negative.
However, in the absence of both Ronaldo and Cavani, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Elanga look the perfect fit to replace the attacking duo. Rasford and Elanga have been known to step up for the team when needed to with the latter having scored in their latest EPL win against Leeds United while the former has been struggling to find form in recent months.
