sokapro-Mane: I will decide Liverpool future after Champions League

The futures of Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are not certain as the two forwards are yet to commit themselves to new contracts with the club.

Senegalese international Sadio Mane has cast doubt on his Liverpool future by saying that he will reveal whether he is staying with the Reds or leaving the club after their UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid. The Liverpool forward has one year remaining in his contract and Bayern Munich alongside Real Madrid are in pursuit of his signature. After missing out on the Premier League trophy finishing second in the table one point behind Champions Manchester City, The forward is now focused on helping his team achieve European glory by clinching their seventh UCL title. In Paris, they will be fighting for the UCL cup against 13 times champions and current LaLiga titleholders Real Madrid. The final will be a repeat of 2018 final.

Liverpool were in a chase of a quadruple before their dreams were cut short by Manchester City winning the Premier League. They have already have the EFL Carabao Cup and the Emirates FA Cup trophies in their cabinets winning both finals on penalties against Chelsea. If they claim victory at the Stade de France on Saturday, they will have managed to complete a treble. Real Madrid missed out on Erling Haaland whom they lost to Manchester City and Kylian Mbappe who chose to extend his stay at Paris Saint Germain. It is now understood that missing out on the two young stars has led them to look in the way of Sadio Mane.

Mohamed Salah whose deal is also set to expire next year has already confirmed that he will be at Liverpool next year and he will then discuss his future after the season is over. It is understood that his contract extension talks have been slugging because he is demanding to be appreciated more at Liverpool and if the Reds are to give in to his demands, they will have to go against their norm. The Egyptian winger further added that Liverpool want revenge on the Los Blancos following the Champions League final defeat in 2018.
