France will on Friday face the Netherlands in Amsterdam requiring just one more victory to book a table at Euro 2024. France have been at their best in the competition so far collecting 15 out of a possible 15 points. Netherlands on the other hand sit six points worse off than their upcoming opponents albeit with a game in hand. The Netherlands returned to qualifying duty last month inspired by their failure to pick up silverware in the Nations League. They have already bagged back-to-back wins against Greece and Republic of Ireland netting five goals in the process while only allowing one. They put three past Greece and had to recover from earlier setback they had suffered at the hands of Ireland to eventually win the fixture.

Second-placed Dutch, however, can not seal an automatic qualification to the Euro 2024 no matter what transpires on Friday against France. Victories over France and Greece whom they will face next Monday, however, will be sufficient if Ireland can take at least a point away from their upcoming clash with the latter. France continued their unblemished start to qualifying Group B by defeating the Republic of Ireland by a score of two goals without reply before suffering an inconsequential friendly defeat to next year's host nation Germany. France will rubber-stamp their place in next year's Euros if they can grab a win against the Netherlands tomorrow. Three points will, however, not be necessary if they can manage a draw and Greece lose to the Republic of Ireland.
