They lost in their first fixture which was against the Netherlands suffering a 4-1 humiliation. However, they made a quick comeback in the next match where they disciplined Poland in a 6-1 victory. Their match against Wales ended in a stalemate.

Germany vs Hungary:
Group C in the UEFA Nations League is definitely the group of death. It consists of giants such as Germany, Italy, England, and Hungary being the only underdog in the group. Surprisingly, Hungary are currently first in the group with seven points. They beat England on match day 4 to establish their dominance. Their previous match on match day 3 against Germany ended in a draw. Hungary’s potential win or loss against Germany can decide their further progress in the Nation’s League.

Italy vs England:
No one can forget the iconic final of the 2020 Euros that ended in a dramatic penalty shoot-out at the Wembley Stadium where Italy emerged victorious sending a wave of pain to the enthusiastic home fans. This was a heartbreak for England as they have been looking to win a major international trophy for decades now. In fact, England were just coming from the 2018 FIFA World Cup where they were surprisingly eliminated by underdogs Croatia in the semifinal stage of the tournament. However, much has happened since the Euros in 2020. Italy have failed to qualify for the World Cup and have stooped in terms of form. England are also struggling in the Nation’s League as they sit last on the table.
