Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is set to have a bid for him in the margin of £200m bid submitted to Liverpool by Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al Ittihad.

Liverpool reportedly have no intention of parting ways with their forward Egyptian star Mohamed Salah but a £200m bid offer by Al Ittiahd who are relentless in their pursuit for the striker could just change their minds. The Saudi Pro League side now fears that they are running out of time to sign the Egyptian star with the Thursday deadline first approaching. The club has already completed moves for Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Jota and Fabinho. Since he arrived at the Merseyside in the year 2017, Mohamed Salah has played a very critical role in the success of Liverpool.

Salah has an average of 20 Premier League goals per season for the Reds. He netted 30 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions last season. The Egyptian star has already made a solid start to the Premier League campaign this season after scoring twice in the four matches played. Even though the Saudis are ready to spend a prodigious fee to sign Salah, they are unlikely to wrap up a deal this summer.  The Europan transfer window already came to a close about a week ago and if Liverpool were to sell their talisman they would not be able to find a replacement. Al Ittihad could however return with another bid after the end of the season which maybe might be successful.

A lot of star players who are reaching their retirement age have opted to play outside Europe with Cristiano Ronaldo singing for Al Nassr and Lionel Messi for Major Soccer League club Al Ittihad. Neymar Junior also recently transferred from PSG to AL Hilal. Both The Saudi Pro League and the Major Soccer League are looking to up their profile in the football market and having star players playing in their leagues could just be the start.
