Mount is expected to miss at least two games for Manchester United as a result of an injury he picked up in the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham.

The England international signed in for Manchester United this season and he is set to miss out on two upcoming games including the weekend game that United will play against Nottingham Forest after he picked up an injury in their defeat against Tottenham Hotspurs on Saturday. He is also very likely to be unavailable when the Red Devils make their trip to the Emirates Stadium to face up with Arsenal. An official statement released by the club suggested that the England midfielder will be out of play until next month's international break. Mason Mount was signed from Chelsea during the ongoing transfer window and he has so far featured in the starting eleven for the Red Devils in the two Premier League games that they have played so far.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr have qualified for the group stages of the Asian Champions League after beating United Arab Emirates outfit Shabab Al-Ahli in a thriller that saw the game finish with a total of 6 goals. The Saudi hosts ran out 4-2 winners on Tuesday thanks to three goals in the space of nine minutes, the first scored by Sultan Al-Ghannam in the 88th minute to level the scores at 2-2. Talisca then bagged his second of the match in the fifth minute of stoppage time, before summer signing Marcelo Brozovic secured victory two minutes later with his first goal for the club. The win will be a huge source of relief for Ronaldo and the rest of the Al-Nassr team after back-to-back defeats in the Saudi Pro League.

In other news, Todd Cantwell's discipline is in question after the midfielder narrowly escaped a red card in the 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of their Champions League play-off tie. Cantwell picked up a booking in the 57th minute and was then replaced by Sam Lammers in the 86th to ensure his availability for next week's second leg in the Netherlands. After the match, Rangers boss Michael Beale said: "I just feel there are times and places where you have to make fouls and tackles and that wasn't one. He just needs to be careful. He is usually on the end of things like that, so I like him to show his grit. But this is a new level again for Todd. He has not played in Europe in his career."
