The future of PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe has been a hot topic during this transfer period as the French international enters his final 11 months of his contract with the French capital giants.

It is no secret that Kylian Mbappe desires a fresh start away from French Capital giants PSG. Real Madrid are of course the club of his choice but there has also been plenty of chatter regarding a potential move to the Premier League. Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool have all been mentioned as potential destinations for the 24-year-old. PSG are hopeful that their star player will eventually stay at the club but have set up a new price for their most precious asset just in case he opts to leave. Reports now indicate that Paris Saint Germain will demand in excess of £ 213 million to let Mbappe leave. It is rumored that Real Madrid are already preparing an offer to have the player within their ranks this season.

Other reports, however, indicate that Kylian Mbappe has agreed a deal with PSG over a compensation package that would see the club receive money if he leaves on a free transfer. The same reports claim that the agreement could also see the French forward agree to a contract extension in the coming months. The French forward scored his side's only goal in a 1-1 draw with Toulouse from the penalty spot following his reintroduction into the team. Mbappe could be heard saying to the French crowd "Je reste la" which roughly translates to "I am staying here." Real Madrid are said to be preparing to send their bid for the French forward to PSG towards the end of the transfer window which is said to be about £ 100 million. The Los Blancos will be riding on the fact that the talented frontman wants to leave the Parc des Princes and will not renew his contract with the club.

PSG had decided to suspend Mbappe from their first-team squad but after a disappointing opening draw with Lorient, they back-tracked on that. A statement from the club on Sunday reads: "Following very constructive, positive talks between PSG and Kylian Mbappé before the game vs Lorient, the player has been reinstated into first team training squad this morning." PSG drew 0-0 in their opening game after they played without Mbappe, Renato Sanches, Marco Verratti, and a host of other senior stars after they let go of Lionel Messi and Neymar during this transfer period.

Mbappe turned down a world-record move to Al-Hilal earlier this summer and he is set to become a free agent when his contract with PSG expires in just below 11 months. The Ligue 1 giants reportedly offered the French forward a new contract last week in a bid to ensure that they do not lose him for free next June and it is said that the contract would have a guaranteed exit clause for the 2024 window but the player turned this down. Mbappe's shirts are no longer purchasable from the club shop and his likeness is being entirely removed from outside the Parc Des Princes as per multiple reports.

The MLS has already started exploring the possibility of bringing Mbappe to the United States following their success in persuading Lionel Messi to choose Inter Miami over offers from Barcelona and the Saudi Pro League. Real Madrid stars Vinicius Jr and Eder Militao have appeared to tell their chief club scout that they wish to see Mbappe join their ranks. In a video of Los Blancos training, it appears that they said: “We hope he will come.” It is also reported that they added: "Juni, you have to sign Mbappe. You are spending all our money in Ibiza. We’ll no longer have enough for Mbappe.” Vinicius then adds: "Mili, tell Juni to sign Mbappe," to which Miltao says, “Juni sign Mbappe.” The Mbappe transfer saga has been headlining the sporting news lately and football fans all around the globe wait to see how the saga will play out as the transfer window steadily comes to a closure.
