sokapro-UEFA Champions League: PSG host AC Milan tonight, who will win?

Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan meet at Parc des Princes tonight, separated by one point in the Champions League's group dubbed as the "Group of Death."

Just separated by one point in the UEFA Champions League ‘group of death’, PSG host AC Milan in what is expected to be a thrilling and exciting UCL clash at the Parc de Princes. The French capital giants will be aiming at bouncing back from a humbling defeat from Newcastle last time out while Milan will be seeking their first UCL win of the season. For the first time in two decades, PSG conceded four goals in a Champions League group match. After going two down shortly before halftime, all hope of fighting back was ended in the 50th minute and by the 90th-minute mark, the scoreline was reading 4-1 out of their favour. Although plenty of post-match scorn was reserved for several stars who failed to perform at their best level, many fans questioned the tactics of coach Luis Enrique, who has taken some time to settle into his new surroundings. PSG, however, had a ball possession of 73% in the game against Newcastle although that did not transform into positive results.

Enrique's men have, however, responded to their humiliating defeat by posting back-to-back Ligue 1 wins with their most recent being a 3-0 win against Strasbourg which made them move just one point behind league leaders Monaco. PSG have only lost one of their 34 group stage games that they have played at the Parc de Princes since becoming Champions League regulars 11 years ago but they will have to end their drought against Milan in Europe's top club competition in order to maintain that record. Les Parisiens have never won against Milan. In addition to Milan having the better of their tonight's hosts, they have also lost just three of their 16 Champions League contests with French sides. They go to the French capital tonight in need of a good result, following successive 0-0 draws to kick off their Group F campaign. Only Manchester City and Real Madrid have had more shots than Milan this far in the competition, but the Italian giants are still without a goal following their stalemate with Borussia Dortmund last time out showing a distinct lack of precision which has proved costly.

AC Milan should prove a tough nut to crack as they have not conceded a single goal in their last four group-stage matches. They come from suffering a 1-0 loss against fellow Italian giants Juventus as a result of coming up short in the opposition area once more again. The defeat was Milan's second in nine Serie A matches with the other coming in a 5-1 humiliation from their arch-rivals Inter Milan earlier in the season. They have won all the other matches, however, and sit just behind their city rivals in the standings with only a point separating them. AC Milan will also face Scudetto holders Napoli. during the weekend making it a very busy week for Stefano Pioli's men.
