Paris Saint Germain new coach has outlined that he has clear plans with Brazilian star Neymar Junior and he wants him to remain at the club.

Paris Saint-Germain sacked former Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino, and appointed former Nice boss Christophe Galtier as his replacement. Galtier has now said that he wants Neymar to stay at the club. In his words; “I want Neymar to stay here with us. He is a world-class player. All the managers in the world want top players like him. I’ve already got clear ideas on my plan for Neymar here at PSG.” The club had to part with £118.5million for the Brazilian forward from Catalonia giants Barcelona in 2017. The 30-year-old still has around three years remaining on his current contract at the Parc des Princes. The French club had invited prospective bidders interested in the services of the forward to bid for the striker but that may now change after the new boss advocated for the winger to stay in the French capital for at least another season.

Chelsea were reportedly keen on wooing the Brazilian winger to Stamford Bridge but this will now see them turn their attention elsewhere. Thomas Tuchel is also said to now be favouring a move for Manchester City's Raheem Sterling as his priority attacking signing. Boehly expected to meet with the Blues’ boss and discuss the idea of Cristiano Ronaldo at Stamford Bridge. The German tactician is an admirer of Ronaldo's game and it is yet to be seen whether he would like the six times Ballon d’Or winner to lead his attack next season. Chelsea are desperate to strengthen their forward line following the departure of Belgium international Romelu Lukaku who headed back to Inter Milan on loan. The Blues struggled in front of goal at times last season, with only Mason Mount registering double figures (11) for goals in the Premier League last term.

The new owner of Chelsea, Todd Boehly is expected to back Thomas Tuchel in the transfer market during this open window as the tactician seeks to reinforce both his defense and attack. The agent of Neymar had earlier made contact with Chelsea raising speculation on whether the Brazilian would make his Premier League debut but having got the confidence of his current tactician, it is highly unlikely that Neymar will leave the French capital giants and might decide to stay alongside Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe together with other great players in the pitch and try and win the UEFA Champions League title for PSG
