Paris Saint Germain are willing to offer Kylian Mbappe the club captaincy in an aim to keep him at the French capital. The 23 year old French international forward has his contract at Parc de Princess expiring on June 30th. As recently as last Sunday, Mbappe confirmed that he was still undecided on his future. The former AS Monaco player has had 26 appearances this season and has scored 15 goals and given 10 assists.
He has been heavily linked with Real Madrid and his ability to speak Spanish and talks of a dream move to the LaLiga have added more fuel to the Los Blancos move. It is now emerging that if Mbappe chooses to stay, he will be granted the position of club captain taking over from Marquinhos. The Brazil international has spend 9 years in Paris and he is one of the longest serving players of the club. The change of captaincy is seen as a final attempt to keep Mbappe from moving to the Santiago Bernabeu and a show of faith in him.
