Australia and New Zealand are hosting the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in a record 10 Stadiums as the show piece event is hosted by two nations for the first time ever.

The FIFA Women's World Cup is being played in two countries as Australia and New Zealand share hosting duties, the first women's event of its kind. Ten venues have been chosen to host the event and in this article, we delve deeper into each and every spectacular arena set to showcase the magnificent game. Below is a list of all the stadiums:

Brisbane Stadium
Established in the year 1954, the stadium has a total seating capacity of 56,851. It is hosting a total of five games including the matchday two game between Nigeria and Australia. One Round-of-16 and one quarter-final tie will also take place at the venue, as well as the third-place play-off on the 19th of August. 

Hindmarsh Stadium
The stadium has a capacity of 13,327 and was built in the year 1960. The stadium is playing host to five matches spread across group stages games and one knockout match. The final match to be played in the arena will be a round-of-16 knock-out match between the winners of Group F and the runners-up of Group H on the 8th of August.

Melbourne Rectangular Stadium
The stadium is slightly over a decade old as it was established in the year 2010 with a seating capacity of 28,870. Six matches are taking place at the venue including two round-of-16 clashes beginning with the team that tops Group G taking on the second-placed side from Group E before winners of Group H battle out with runners-up of Group F. 

Perth Rectangular Stadium

The venue has a capacity of 13,932 and it is one of the early stadiums established in the year 1910. The venue is hosting five matches and the curtains to the stadium will be brought down on the final day of the group stages when Morocco takes on Colombia.


Stadium Australia
Established in the year 1999, the stadium can hold a capacity of 69,314 people. It has already hosted the opening game when Australia took on the Republic of Ireland at the venue. It is also set to host key knock-out round matches including one of the last four quarter-finals, the second semi-final, and the final itself on the 20th of August. 

Sydney Football Stadium
Located in the city of Sydney, the stadium was opened up last year and its current capacity is 38,841. It is hosting six matches of the World Cup event comprising five group stages and one knock-out fixture. The last round-of-16 clash between the winners of Group E and the runners-up of Group G will bring the curtains down for this particular stadium on the 6th of August.

Dunedin Stadium
Opened in the year 2011, the venue has a capacity of 24,243 and it has already hosted the opening fixture of group A between Switzerland and the Philipines. It is hosting another five group games and it will not be used to host any knock-out round fixtures in the World Cup event.

Eden Park
Located in Auckland, New Zealand, the stadium is more than a century old as it was opened up for the public in the year 1900 and currently has a seating capacity of 40,536 people. It is hosting a total of six group-stage matches as well as three knock-out games. The elimination games will include one quarter-final and the first semi-final match.

Waikato Stadium
With a capacity of 16,271 people, the stadium was established in 2002 and it is hosting five group-stage matches. It will round off its hosting duties on the 2nd of August when Argentina takes on Sweden in a Group G match.

Wellington Regional Stadium
Opened during the start of the century in the year 2000, the stadium has a capacity of 31,089 and it will be hosting a whooping total of nine games including a quarter-final match on the 11th of August that will bring the curtains down for the Stadiums hosting duties.
