Anthony was dropped from the Brazil squad earlier this week following allegations that were made earlier this week by his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin. His woes now seem to be far from as another woman by the name Rayssa de Freitas now claims that she had to seek hospital treatment after being assaulted by the Brazilian winger and another woman in May 2022. Reports now indicate that the woman had reported the alleged incident to the Sao Paulo Civil Police. At the same time, another woman by the name Ingrid Lana has claimed in a television interview she was pressured by Antony to have sex while on a business trip to England last year.
Ingrid alleged that the Brazilian winger invited her to his house and pushed her against a wall which led to her banging her head. "He tried to have a relationship with me and I didn't want to. "He pushed me against the wall and I hit my head. My purpose was just business. Arriving there at his invitation, I realized he had ulterior motives," Lana claimed in the interview. These allegations come at a time when
Manchester United are just from concluding dealing with a similar matter with
Mason Greenwood who had rape allegations levelled up against him but they were later dropped. The situation is reported to have caused huge damage to United's image and reputation to such an extent that they had to drop Greenwood from the team even though an internal investigation had revealed his innocence. Mason is now on loan to
La Liga side
Getafe.
